Cancellation policy

The tenant has the right to withdraw from the contract before the start of the rental period. In the event of such a withdrawal, the landlord will claim compensation as follows:4

Cancellation up to 45 days before the start of the rental period - 10% of the rental price
Cancellation 44-33 days before the start of the rental period - 30% of the rental price
Cancellation 32-22 days before the start of the rental period - 60% of the rental price
Cancellation 21-12 days before the start of the rental period - 80% of the rental price
Cancellation 11 days before the start of the rental period - 90% of the rental price

The tenant has the right to provide a replacement tenant who will take over the apartment in full. In this case, the landlord is not entitled to compensation.
The claim for compensation does not apply if the landlord succeeds in renting the apartment to someone else during the rental period. If the apartment can only be rented at a lower rental price, the compensation shall not exceed the difference between the rent actually achieved and the rent that the tenant would have had to pay.
